TRIBUTE TO CAMEROON JAZZ/FUNK STAR - MANU DIBANGO

Sabah’s Global Enterprise honors the life and legacy of Manu Dibango, who transitioned on March 23, 2020 at the age of 86 from the Covid-19 virus in a Paris hospital. Brother Dibango was a legendary musician who blended jazz, funk, and traditional West African styles. He achieved global renown and influenced artists such as Michael Jackson and Rihanna. He also collaborated with Hugh Masekela and Herbie Hancock, among others. His tracks were sampled by Busta Rhymes and the Chemical Brothers. RIP to a Giant of African Music, and may your life, legacy, and musical genius resound through the world forever.
Peace!
